Gosh where do i begin. When i heard the news a week before Christmas. Both Kaelin and i were in utter shock and disbelief. Yet, i knew then that this is exactly the kind of heroic action that Zi On would do for another human being...that thought, nevertheless, did not make it any easier for us to digest the news.
i have known Zi On since he was a little baby and watched him grown into a fine young man. He was always the careful one, the steady one. Zi Lu was absolutely right their polar personalities. But they complement each other so well. In my mind they are the perfect duo in the Kerk's family!
Ta Ge, Ta Sau, Zi Lu, i know this is difficult time for you. Nothing i say will make the pain go away any quicker, nor is that my intention. Grieving is a messy process. Time is the only cure. Although i am not a Christian, i believe in higher power. God will take good care of Zi Lu. What He needs you to do is take good care of yourselves.
